Johnny Appleseed

We have been learning so much about apples this week! We read the story of Johnny Appleseed and discussed the life cycle of an apple tree. We have also learned about a lot of different foods that you can make that come from apples, like apple cider, apple butter and apple pie.


After reading the story of Johnny Appleseed, we made a concept map to re-tell the story. A concept map is a diagram that helps us show relationships between concepts. We used pictures from the story to help. The kids really enjoyed this activity and it really helped us understand the story better.
